The nozzles are silicone, which resists mineral buildup far better than the rigid plastic nozzles found on cheaper rain showers. You can also wipe them clean with your finger every few weeks to keep the spray even.

The body is stainless steel throughout, not just a chrome coated plastic shell. That's part of why it holds up over years of daily use without the finish peeling.

Most people fit it themselves. It threads onto a standard shower arm the same way your old head did, so if you're comfortable with a wrench, it's a 10 minute job. If you'd rather not, any local plumber can install it in a few minutes.

It performs best with normal to moderate household pressure. If your building has particularly low pressure, the rainfall effect will still work but may feel gentler than the product photos suggest.
